How much does it cost to list my property?

An annual subscription is only $99.00 plus HST- No hidden fees (only $8.25 per month).

How many photos can I upload?

All listings include 24 high quality photos that will display in your own photo gallery. We do not charge you extra for additional photos. Including photos in your listing is a great way to showcase your cottage. It helps potential renters really visualize what your property looks like.

What should I write in my cottage listing?

All property listings include unlimited text description so the more detail you write the better. Renters like to know about both the indoor and outdoor features of a property. What is the cottage layout? Is it one level or two? Are the bedrooms upstairs or downstairs? Is the land fat and level or is the cottage on a hill?

How do potential renters contact me?

Each listing has a secure email form letting renters contact you directly. If renters are interested in contacting you by phone they can do so by becoming a member of Online Cottage Rental to view your phone number. This way we keep your phone number secure from spammers.

Is my personal information secure?

Yes. All email addresses are encrypted in our secure email form. Renters must login before your personal information (Name and Phone number) is displayed on your listing page. Online Cottage Rental has an SSL certificate installed ensuring all data between our server and your web browser are secure. All Please visit our Privacy Statement for additional information.

How do I edit my listing, update my calendar and or rates?

It's simple, just login to your account. Once logged in, the screen will display your own personal dashboard with the following features.

View your listing
Edit current listing
Update Calendar
Edit your profile
Change your password

You can even add your property as a feature of the week or last minute special.

Do I have to rent my property for a whole season? What kind of rentals are people looking for?

We suggest if you have a property you would like to rent, no matter the how long or short a period you would like to rent it for, list it. No two renters are the same. Some are looking for full season rentals while other just want weekend cottage rentals. Some are looking for summer cottage rentals and others for winter cabin getaways.
