Welcome to our Lake Rosseau/Joseph River Cottage!

Lake Rosseau is home to many estate cottages and grand lakeside hotels with some dating back the late 1800s. The south end of the lake is in the
Township of Muskoka Lakes, and the north end is in Seguin Township. Lake Rosseau connects to Lake Joseph through a passage at Port Sandfield and a narrow cut of the Joseph River. The numerous beautiful islands and the depth of the lake which reaches over 300 feet in some areas, provides some of the safest and most scenic boating in North America.

Our family cottage is located on Joseph River, right at the mouth of Joseph River and Lake Rosseau. Literally within minutes to Fabulous Golf Courses, Excellent Fishing right on our lake, Marinas, Great Restaurants and Night-time Entertainment, you'd be hard pressed to find boredom here. We offer everything for everyone.

Five kilometres away is "Red Leaves" a new luxury 5 star Marriott Hotel. They have five restaurants, 13,000 sq ft spa, Nick Faldo world renowned golf course "The Rock". Live theater. Ski lessons or wakeboarding. Four other golf courses only minutes away.

Southern Exposure with sun all day, our cottage is perfect for families with small children; the shallow water entry, complete with a hard packed sandy bottom, provides warmer waters in which to play and a diving board right off the dock. Water front property with over 220 feet of shoreline with gorgeous view for miles, very well landscaped and sheltered from wind and waves.

INTERIOR DESCRIPTION
Hardwood floors through-out, with two tastefully decorated bedrooms: master(queen), 2nd Bedroom - queen and a Bunkie at the waters edge.
Additional sleeping on the pull out couch in the livingroom. A few steps down from the great room, the pine "Muskoka room" with three walls of windows gives
an ever-changing view of the lake and surrounding woods. One full bathroom including bathtub. A beautiful Granite Fireplace in the livingroom for those
romantic evenings.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION
The shore line is approximately 100 ft. flowing into a hard sandy bottom. There is a fire pit for enjoying evening fires, a dock with diving board, a picnic table, and plenty of Muskoka style chairs to relax in. Water sport equipment includes a Canoe. Any type of watercraft is available for rental at the local Marina (1km). Back of cottage is
elevated to side of property for excellent privacy.

RATE INFORMATION
CDN$2,500/week high season, CDN$1,500 long weekends, deposit required.
