Ed & Mary Chmiel are the owners of the Severn Falls Cottages and the Riverhouse Restaurant located in Severn Falls about 1.5 hours from Toronto. Our water front property is spread over 3 acres of land situated right on the Trent Severn Waterway. The river is a great place
to relax fish and swim right off our private dock. From all of our cottages you have a spectacular view of the river. Our 4 cottage properties can sleep 38 so it’s perfect if you’re planning a large group event, family reunion or golf tournament. The Riverview Cottage is a large luxury 4 bedroom cottage located in Severn Falls overlooking the Trent Severn Waterway. This cottage is very private, surrounded by trees. The interior is very open with large windows in the front to take in the view. From your deck chair you can sit and watch the boats, loons and fish jump in the fresh morning air. During the fall the scenery is full of colour and the view from the dining room is breath taking. For those that enjoy skiing or snowmobiling we are located very close to ski hills and you can hit the trails right from your cottage. This cottage is intended for family use. The cottage is air conditioned, 2 bathrooms, an outdoor hot tub, and flat screen satellite TV. You can also take advantage of our free wireless internet.

Our River View Cottage is open all year and large enough to accommodate your family for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, or how about that special event weekend you’re planning with friends for a bridge group or scrapbooking weekend. We are situated half way between the Big Chute Marine Railway lock # 43 and lock # 44 Swift Rapids. We are just off Upper Big Chute road and 20klm from Coldwater where you will find some interesting shops and the Bon Air golf course. All of our cottages are very comfortably furnished with well equipped kitchens. Upon your arrival each cottage is clean and tidy with blankets, pillows and bed lines supplied. Bring your towels and DVD’s. Barbeques are supplied on each deck.Our guests can enjoy relaxing and having fun with our 2 paddleboats, 2 kayaks, and canoe. Life jackets are provided. We have fire pits situated at each cottage. There is a small sandy beach area and a large sand box for the kids. Just minutes from the cottages are a general store, LCBO, beer store, propane and ice cream parlour. A nearby Marina allows for easy access for launching your boat and tie up to one of our cottage docks. There are 2 parking spots and one boat slip included with each cottage.  Enjoy our nearby fully licensed restaurant with an outdoor patio for those days you just don’t feel like cooking. There is a local chapel within walking distance.

Muskoka Panabode

The Muskoka is a spacious, all cedar 4 bedroom panabode cottage sitting directly on the Trent Severn River. Open your front door with your morning coffee onto your large wrap around deck and you are right on the water edge. From your muskoka deck chair you can sit and watch the boats go by.  Sleeps 12- 3 queens, 1 double, 1bunk, 1 sofa bed

Severn Cottage

The Seven is an all cedar 2 bedroom cottage steps away from the water’s edge of the Trent Severn River.. Here you will enjoy a screened in sun room and roofed outdoor deck situated on a spacious yard.   Sleeps 8- 2 queens,1 sofa bed, 2 futons

Trent Cottage

This newly updated all cedar cottage is 2 bedroom and so cozy. The large front window is situated to view directly onto the river of the Trent
Severn Waterway steps away from the shore line.  Sleeps 6- 2 doubles, 1 sofa bed

Dogs are allowed at our discretion only. A damage deposit is required for all dogs and is 100% refundable if there is no damage to the premises. Dog owners are responsible to keep dogs on a leash at all times and pick up after them at all times.
